EXCLUSIVE: Briarcliff Entertainment has acquired North American rights to The Hill, an inspirational true-life sports drama starring Dennis Quaid, scripted by Angelo Pizzo & Scott Marshall Smith and directed by Jeff Celentano. Quaid starred in one of the most successful fact-based sports films in recent memory with The Rookie, and Pizzo wrote two of the best true sports films in Rudy and Hoosiers. Celentano helmed Gunshy and Breaking Point.

‘Boys Of Summer’: Lorraine Bracco, Nora Zehetner & More Board Family Adventure Pic Toplined By Mel Gibson And Mason Thames
Lorraine Bracco (The Sopranos), Nora Zehetner (Grey’s Anatomy), Julian Lerner (The Wonder Years), Abby James Witherspoon (Secret Headquarters) and Noah Cottrell (Punky Brewster) have joined the cast of Boys of Summer, the family adventure film from actor-director David Henrie (This Is the Year, Wizards of Waverly Place) that is now in production in North Carolina.
They will star alongside the previously announced Mel Gibson and Mason Thames.

Comic-Con HQ Series ‘Mark Hamill’s Pop Culture Quest’ Set For Fall
As part of the expansion of Comic-Con’s ad-free subscription service Comic-Con HQ, the organization has announced that a new SVOD series starring Luke Skywalker himself is a go. Mark Hamill’s Pop Culture Quest will see the Star Wars icon executive produce and star in the new series, which will feature the stories of passionate memorabilia collectors from all walks of fandom.
